Jerry Hall Paints West End Return with Picasso???Date: 26 February 2002Plans looks to be firming up for Jerry Hall's West End return care of Brian McAvera's Picasso's Women. As reported in Whatsonstage.com News (4 Dec 2001), the collection of five short plays - which also stars Cherie Lunghi and Gwen Taylor - opened a five-week regional tour this month. It now looks it may be coming into the West End, to an ATG venue, sooner rather than later - perhaps sometime this spring. Split into two programmes, the intimate portrait of Pablo Picasso, perhaps the 20th century's greatest artists, is told through the voices of the women who inspired him and his work. An ex-model and ex-wife of Rolling Stone Mick Jagger, Hall's previous West End appearances have been in The Graduate, The Vagina Monologues and Bus Stop. Related Content |
