Over the Moon Angst Seals Joan's Love???

There may have been no love lost between Joan Collins and her former co-star Frank Langella in the erstwhile West End farce Over the Moon, but Collins has still managed to capture her leading man. In a true backstage love story, the 68-year-old actress announced yesterday that she is to marry the production's company stage manager, Peruvian Percy Gibson. The two initially met back in the States when Collins was appearing in a tour of AR Gurney's Love Letters. Thank goodness then that there's a happy ending to Collins' Over the Moon experience. After the play's near-universal panning, Collins and Langella fell out, Langella fled back to the States mid-run, and the production closed early. Afterwards, Collins accused the show's failure on producer Bill Kenwright's publicists who arranged for a promotional photo, widely published, of Collins in a corset and suspenders. This will be Collins' fifth marriage; 36-year-old Gibson is 32 years her junior.
