Love in the Air on Dangerous Set???
Date: 12 November 2001
West End transfers aren't the only thing on the minds of the cast in the West Yorkshire Playhouse production of JB Priestley's
Dangerous Corner. Apparently, romance has blossomed between two of the show's stars -
Dervla Kirwan and
Rupert Penry-Jones. The play, which finished its limited season in Leeds last month, opens at the West End's Garrick Theatre on 14 November, following previews from 6 November. Kirwan is best known from TV's
Ballykissangel and
Hearts and Bones while Penry-Jones' impressive stage credits include
Chips with Everything,
The Play about the Baby and numerous RSC productions. The latter - a "well-known Lothario" according to one paper - is sure to win and woo many more female followers with his film roles next year in adventure flick
Four Feathers and the screen adaptation of Sebastian Faulks' novel
Charlotte Gray.
