Jekyll & Hyde Set for Phoenix???Date: 3 October 2001 The musical version of Jekyll and Hyde is rumoured to be heading for London's Phoenix Theatre next year. The venue is currently housing the smash-hit Blood Brothers which is booking to April 2002, but the show could be moved elsewhere or even close after over 13 years in town. Jekyll & Hyde is based on Robert Louis Stevenson's story which depicts a man fighting against his inner self before his darkest desires are set into motion. The musical was arranged for the stage by Steve Cuden and Frank Wildhorn and debuted at Houston's Tony Award-winning Alley Theatre, breaking box office records, and playing to sold-out houses. A recording based on that production was released and yielded the hits Someone Like You and This Is The Moment.
