Can You Dig It??? A Biodegradable Flyer!
Date: 25 August 2011
To promote their show, Can You Dig It?, musical gardening duo Jo Stephenson and Dan Woods have created what they believe is the first 100 per cent compostable flyer.
The flyer is printed on recycled paper using biodegradable, vegetable-based inks and can safely be put into any compost bin, on which Woods has commented, “Every year at the Fringe tons of flyers are thrown away, which is why we have designed our flyers to be 100 per cent compostable and are actively encouraging Fringe-goers to pop them in their compost bins once they have read them.”
Can You Dig It? features various comic songs written by the pair about the trials and tribulations of gardening, including 'compost, sprouts and Alan Titchmarsh'. The show is running at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh (Patrick Geddes Room) from 5-29 August (not Tuesdays) at 4pm.Got some goss? Contact firstname.lastname@example.org
