The Show Must Go On for Potted Panto???

Potted Panto opened in Edinburgh this week but the show nearly didn't go on as whilst on the train to Edinburgh Jefferson Turner, who co-writes and performs the show, spilt an entire mug of East Coast Trains coffee over the show laptop. The laptop, which was ruined, contained the up-to-date script for Potted Panto. The show is performed by double act Dan and Jeff and features performances of six pantomimes and A Christmas Carol in one hour! By working through the night, the team behind the show were able to piece back together the script and queues in time for their technical rehearsal at 8 am the next morning. It just goes to show, true dedication to cross-dressing, fairy Godmothers and ugly sisters knows no bounds. Director, Richard Hurst commented "in the show it's Dan who's the idiot, but this time Jeff's dedication to slapstick went above and beyond the call of duty". The cast and crew generously clubbed together and bought Jeff another cup of coffee.
