Five Reasons To See ... 3MT Christmas Variety Show

Christmas is coming and what better way to relieve the stress is there than enjoyng some cabaret. The Three Minute Theatre is Manchester is hosting their very own Christmas Variety Show next week. We caught up with Zoe Iqbal to find out her five reasons why you should go along.


1. The venue
 The 3MT venue also known as the Three Minute theatre, is a welcoming intimate, versatile space. From dance workshops to film screenings the venue suits all. Complete with tiered seating, the venue can seat up to 60 people. Situated within Afflecks palace and just a 5 minute walk from both Piccadilly and Victoria stations, the venue is accessible and easy to find and get home from. Fans of the arts must come and see this venue regardless of whether they see the show or not! 3MT owners Gina Frost and John Topliff are always very welcoming whether they are hosting an event or if you are popping in to have a look around.

2. Entertainment.
Featuring original acts, original material and new writing. A Mêlée of Contemporary Opera, Burlesque, Stand up and comedy sketches from some of the most exciting, fresh acts in Manchester. Mixing the traditional format of a cabaret with the weird, wonderful and of course Christmas!

3. Quality of Acts.
The 3MT in house company work on everything from comedy sketches to gripping drama. They are keeping it light, it is Christmas after all! from world peas (yes peas!) to party fairy there are sketches for all humours! Manchester Stand up comedian and comedy actress Zoe Iqbal will be hosting the evening, and will be keeping it real with the surreal! from people who are aroused by chairs to racist bikini waxers, she has met them all and would like to tell you about it! 4. The best of Burlesque.
Burlesque is making a comeback all around the world but what exactly is it? It can be considered an art form, highly comical and breathtaking (sometimes all at the same time!) to be enjoyed by men and women. Cherie Bebe performs up and down the country.  Clients have included agent provocateur and places performed include the Lowry. 5.  Beverage and Christmas nibbles.
Cheap drinks! A nice range of wines, spirits and lagers all at reasonable prices. Also Mince pies and cake are also available. Please come in, Pay us a visit, and take a break from the Christmas rush with some quality entertainment!



3MT Christmas Variety Show is on 21st December at 7.30pm and tickets are £7.
