Five Reasons To See....JB Shorts 5

Date: 15 March 2011

Since JB Shorts first hit the Manchester theatre scene at Joshua Brooks back in March 2009, it very rapidly gained a reputation for funny, thought-provoking and dynamic live theatre - and it has become keenly anticpated fixture on the theatrical calender. James Quinn, a co-founder of JB Shorts who also performs in We're All In This Together, one of the new set of plays, gives five reasons why you should defnitely 'tip up' for JB Shorts 5.

1. Top Quality.
Six fifteen minute plays by established TV writers and staged by a high quality company of actors and directors.

2. Critically Acclaimed.
The Independent, The Guardian, the Manchester Evening News, Whatsonstage.com plus numerous local papers and online theatre reviewers have repeatedly given 4-5 Star Reviews for JB Shorts.

3. Variety.
Six different plays means six different themes - and a company of twenty actors; a unique mix of familiar faces and exciting new talent.

4. Relaxation.
It's a pub so have a drink while you watch..

5. Bring your friends and family.
Whether your nearest and dearest are avid theatregoers or have never set foot in a theatre in their lives, JB Shorts offers everyone a fun and inclusive night out. If one play doesn't grab you, they'll be another one along in a minute! And it's all done by 9pm so plenty of time for catching up over a drink afterwards. And of course, it's still only a fiver! The best value night of live theatre in town.

JB Shorts 5 is at Joshua Brooks, 106 Princess Street, Manchester from 22 March - 2 April, 7pm (Doors, 6.40pm). Tickets are £5 and can be purchased on the door.
