WOS Blog: Latitude Festival 2011 Day Two

Date: 18 July 2011

The sixth edition of Latitude Festival was held this weekend (14 to 17 July 2011) with a sell-out crowd of 35,000 descending on Henham Park Estate near Southwold in Suffolk.

This year's festival saw a mixture of music, dance, literature, poetry, cabaret, comedy, film and theatre presented across the site, with a dedicated theatre arena and outdoor performance space.

Theatre highlights included work by the Lyric Hammersmith, Theatre503, Hightide, the Bush Theatre, 1927 Theatre company and the National Theatre of Scotland.

Latitude's dance programme included performances from Fela! which transfers to the theatre following its National Theatre run earlier this year, residents Zoo Nation and the Rambert Dance Company.
