42nd Street’s back – Well, the local residents in Chichester will definitely be meeting those dancing feet as 42nd Street taps its way into the Festival Theatre this summer. Revived by acclaimed director Paul Kerryson with choreography by the always inventive and much sought after Andrew Wright, the hit Broadway musical tells the story of smalltown girl Peggy Sawyer’s meteoric rise from the anonymity of the chorus line to the spotlight of a massive Broadway star.
Edinburgh International Festival 2010 - With what is possibly one of my favourite video picks for quite some time, the Edinburgh International Festival 2010 has produced yet another jam-packed programme featuring artists from all corners of the globe, coming together to create the 2010 ‘New Worlds’ theme. Another recent success for Williams was Category B, part of the Not Black and White season at the Tricycle. Has he got another knock out on his hands?
