  • Just Me and Them: the Music of Scott Alan - On Sunday 11 October 2009, at the Leicester Square Theatre, Scott Alan will make his official return to the London stage, together with some of today’s best and brightest West End stars including Stephen Ashfield, David Bedella, Glenn Carter, Ramin Karimloo, Patina Miller, John Owen-Jones, Caroline Sheen and Oliver Tompsett. Scott Alan will be on hand to accompany the performers on a selection from his songbook and after recent concerts on Broadway, his return to the London stage looks set to be a truly memorable evening. Here, he sings Blessing with The Broadway Boys at a recent concert in America.

  • Love Never Dies launch - The Phantom himself delivered the news many musical theatre fans had been waiting for: the official launch of the Phantom of the Opera sequel, Love Never Dies at 11am on 8 October. Rumours have been rife, speculating who will take the leads in Lloyd Webber’s latest offering and this teaser trailer offers a first glimpse of where the story continues. Take a trip to Coney Island and see if the Phantom can lure his Angel of music to sing for him once again – all will be revealed..!

  • Diana Vickers’ big Little debut - Lesley Sharp, Marc Warren and Diana Vickers are gearing up to star in the first major West End revival of Jim Cartwright’s multi award-winning play, The Rise and Fall of Little Voice, opening at the Vaudeville Theatre in October. This wonderfully funny, incredibly moving play tells the story of a shy, reclusive girl named Little Voice and her larger than life, out of control mother Mari. Featuring the music of Shirley Bassey, Marilyn Monroe, Judy Garland and Dusty Springfield in Little Voice’s astonishingly accurate impersonations, this is sure to be a crowd pleaser.

  • Meet the newest kids in town! - West End long-runner Hairspray has recently brought in some fresh faces to keep the hit show swinging and currently stars Brian Conley, Chloe Hart and Liam Tamne. You’ve got a few more weeks to catch Conley before comedian Phill Jupitas takes over as Edna Turnblad with a new stellar line up joining on 26 October 2009. The new cast will see Belinda Carlisle as Velma Von Tussle and powerhouse Sharon D Clarke as celebrity DJ Motormouth Mabel.
