[[raw]]The world premiere of William Caminara's new comedy The Three Lions runs as part of this year's Edinburgh Fringe Festival, which kicks off on Friday (2 August 2013).

The play centres on a footballer, a prince and a Prime Minister and, glancing at the production photos, we couldn't help but notice that some of the cast bear a striking resemblance to the real thing.

Can you spot the difference?

The play explores the night before England's big to host the 2018 FIFA World Cup, in a Swiss hotel, giving a behind-the-scene glimpse of missed planes, mistaken identities and sartorial challenges as diplomacy in action is brought to the stage.

Despite the many misunderstandings, Beckham, Cameron and Prince William are all desperate to bring the nation's favourite sport home.

We (probably fortunately) failed to find any photos of the real Cameron looking like this, but these two of Dugald Bruce-Lockhart definitely made us laugh...

The Three Lions runs at the Pleasance Beyond until 26 August 2013.
- Louise Miles
