WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

Using mainly the words of Roland Penrose and his friends set to a stream of images, this drama introduces us to the surrealist artist and his two wives, Valentine Boue and Lee Miller, alongside fellow artist from Penrose's life including Man Ray, Leonora Carrington, Edward James and Pablo Picasso. This production is a collaboration between Farleys House, the former home of Penrose and Miller, and West Dean College, home of the Edward James collection and archive.
