Production pics: Chichester's Young Chekhov season

Jonathan Kent’s production opens in Chichester later this week

Production images from the Young Chekhov season at Chichester Festival Theatre have been released.

Directed by Jonathan Kent with new adaptations of Chekhov's classic plays by David Hare, the season opens in Chichester on 17 October.

The productions will see a repertory cast of 23 actors performing 50 parts in Platonov, Ivanov and The Seagull. Each of the three plays can either be seen as a single performance or as one event on a 'Trilogy Day'.

The cast includes Anna Chancellor, Nina Sosanya, James McArdle and Samuel West.

The Young Chekhov season runs at Chichester Festival Theatre from 17 October to 14 November.
