Full casting announced for Mack and Mabel with Michael Ball

Jonathan Church’s production opens in July ahead of a UK tour

Full casting has been announced for Mack and Mabel at Chichester Festival Theatre, which stars Michael Ball and Rebecca LaChance in the title roles.

Following its run in Chichester, from 13 July to 5 September 2015, the production will tour across the UK and Ireland.

Further casting, as previously announced, includes Anna-Jane Casey as Lottie, Jack Edwards as Fatty, Alex Giannini as Mr Kleiman, Gunnar Cauthery as Frank and Mark Inscoe as William Desmond Taylor.

The company also includes Timothy Quinlan, Ashley Andrews, Adam Denman, Nicole Deon, Michelle Francis, Emily Langham, Jenny Legg, Rebecca Louis, Joshua Lovell, Grace McKee, Joseph Prouse, Rohan Richards, Emily Shaw, Sam Stones, Andrew Waldron, Zara Warren and Libby Watts.

Jerry Herman and Michael Stewart's 1974 musical is based on the true romance between Hollywood silent movie director Mack Sennett and his leading lady Mabel Normand. The score includes "Time Heals Everything" and "I Won't Send Roses".

The production is directed by Jonathan Church, Chichester's outgoing artistic director, whose previous credits include Singing' in the Rain, Taken at Midnight and The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui, all of which transferred to the West End.

The tour runs from 1 October to 6 December visiting: Plymouth Theatre Royal, Manchester Opera House, Dublin's BGE Theatre, Edinburgh Playhouse, Nottingham Theatre Royal and Cardiff Wales Millennium Centre.
