Casting has been announced for the UK tour of The Winslow Boy.
The show, which begins at Chichester Festival Theatre and will be directed by Rachel Kavanaugh, will star Tessa Peake-Jones as Grace Winslow and Aden Gillett as Arthur Winslow.
Terence Rattigan's 1946 family drama is about a 14 year-old cadet who is expelled from Royal Navy College for stealing and how his family are torn apart by the consequences. The play was made into a film in 1948 and then again in 1999 by David Mamet. It was based on a real-life incident.
After Chichester, The Winslow Boy venues included on the tour are Birmingham Rep, Bath Theatre Royal, Oxford Playhouse, The Lowry, Brighton Theatre Royal and Richmond Theatre.
The Winslow Boy runs at Chichester Festival Theatre from 8 to 17 February and then tours the UK.
