Opening: NT’s Hush, Chichester Barnum and RSC’s All’s Well That Ends Well
Among this week’s major London theatre openings, in the West End and further afield, are The Hush at the NT Shed, Barnum at Chichester Festival Theatre, the RSC’s All’s Well That Ends Well, and more:
The Hush 22 July 2013 (Previews from 17 July) Described as an “experiential journey into sound”, Matthew Herbert and Ben Power’s show stars Tobias Menzies and Susannah Wise and runs at NT Shed until 3 August 2013.
Shakespeare’s Globe is staging the three parts of Shakespeare’s trilogy of history plays. Also touring the country, they run in rep until 8 September 2013.
Timothy Sheader directs Christopher Fitzgerald as “America’s Greatest Showman” P T Barnum at Chichester Festival Theatre. Also starring Tamsin Carroll, it runs until 31 August 2013.
Alison Pollard directs a new musical about the lives of WAGs. Starring Tim Flavin, Ariadne the Greek WAG and Lizzie Cundy, it runs until 24 August 2013.
Nancy Meckler directs Shakespeare’s comedy for the RSC. With a cast including Jonathan Slinger and Charlotte Cornwell, it runs at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre until 26 September 2013.
