Ben and Holly's Little Kingdom is a pre-school children's show set in an enchanted magical kingdom with fairies, elves and insects.
Holly is a young Fairy Princess, who is still learning how to fly and her magic doesn't always go quite according to plan. Her best friend, Ben the Elf, doesn't have wings and he doesn't do magic, but he runs very fast and flies on the back of Gaston the Ladybird. They live in the Little Kingdom, a tiny land where flowers and grass rise high above them and every day is an adventure. Ben and Holly have fun and games helping Gaston the Ladybird clean up his messy cave, they go on a trip into The Big World with tooth-fairy Nanny Plum, even plan a surprise birthday party for King Thistle, and oops, let's hope there's not another jelly flood! Join Ben and Holly, and their friends on this exciting musical adventure packed full of games, songs and laughter on an enchanting journey through the Magical Kingdom. With actors, masks and colourful costumes this beautiful story of elves, princesses and childhood innocence will delight all the family.
Follow Mouse into the deep dark wood on a hunt for hazelnuts. Armed with just a nut map and a very vivid imagination, Mouse runs into the smirking, wheeler-dealer Fox; an eccentric, retired Woodland Air Force officer Owl; and the maraca-shaking, part animal Snake. Rather than becoming the main course of their next meal, Mouse scares them away with stories of an imaginary monster friend, but what happens when he comes face to face with the very creature he imagined? For 3-6 year olds.
This co-production pairs the well-loved tragedy with aerial circus alongside a series of workshops to explore power and explain our parliamentary systems to schoolchildren. Set against a backdrop of conflict, civil disturbance and prejudice in present British society, this timeless production tells a story of young people betrayed by a fractured society leading to tragic consequences. In keeping with the play's central theme of overcoming societal barriers, this inclusive version uses unconventional staging to encourage audiences to move and explore the set, allowing them to experience the drama up close and be absorbed in the story. Supported by Arts Council of Wales and Arts Active, in association with Theatr Iolo and No Fit State Circus | An Omidaze co-production with Wales Millennium Centre.
Betty O'Barley and Harry O'Hay are excellent scarecrows. Harry loves Betty, and Betty loves Harry - so they decide to get married and Harry sets off to search for their wedding day essentials. However, when the farmer notices he is missing a scarecrow, he replaces Harry with the devilishly smooth Reginald Rake. Will Harry make it back in the nick of time before Reginald ruins their special day? This truly heart-warming adaptation of Julia Donaldson & Axel Scheffler's new bestselling book is bursting at the seams with Scamp Theatre's inimitable style (Stick Man, Tiddler & Other Terrific Tales, Pirate Gran).
