Noel Sullivan and John Owen-Jones to star in Tiger Bay the Musical

The new musical will have its world premiere at Wales Millennium Centre

Noel Sullivan and John Owen-Jones have been cast in the world premiere of Wales Millennium Centre’s biggest in-house production to date – Tiger Bay the Musical.

Directed by Melly Still, the musical tells the story of the notorious underworld of Wales' capital at the turn of the 1900s. Sullivan plays Harbour Master, Séamus O’Rourke, an opportunist, exiled from Africa to make his fortune through unsavoury means on Cardiff Docks. Les Miserables star Owen-Jones will play Cardiff's richest man John Crichton-Stuart.

Also joining the cast is Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama graduate Vikki Bebb, and Welsh school girls Louise Harvey and Ruby Llewellyn.

Tiger Bay the Musical has music by Daf James and a book by Michael Williams and will feature a predominantly Welsh cast.
