The tour will open at Glasgow's Citizens Theatre on 29 August, before travelling to Plymouth, York, Southampton, Exeter and Cambridge (full dates below), with more venues to be announced shortly.
Prior to the tour, as previously announced, 1984 will transfer to the West End's Playhouse Theatre from 28 April to 19 July 2014.
Nominated for an Olivier Award for Best New Play, the production recently completed a sold-out run at the Almeida Theatre, following its inaugural UK tour.
George Orwell's 1984, published in 1949, is one of the most influential novels of modern times, with its chilling depiction of perpetual war, pervasive government surveillance and incessant public mind control.
The production, produced by Headlong, Nottingham Playhouse and the Almeida, is created and directed by Icke and Macmillan, with design by Chloe Lamford, lighting by Natasha Chivers, sound by Tom Gibbons and video design by Tim Reid.
