Cast Change for I Met a Man Who Wasn’t There Tour

There’s a major cast change for the current tour (which began in late March) of Philip Meeks’ new chiller I Met a Man Who Wasn’t There. It’s presented by Bruce James Productions. Philip Madoc has had to withdraw at short notice because of a health problem. Cathy Shipton, however, continues in her role as investigative journalist Amanda Schilling.

Few contemporary supernatural thrillers have quite as many plot twists as this one. Leeds-based Meeks gives us a battle of wits between two people whose past seeps into their present situation and threatens to overwhelm their individual futures. If either of them can have one, that is.

Brian Capron takes over as retired psychic Edgar Rhyme on Monday 9 May at the Playhouse Theatre, Weston-super-Mare for the rest of the tour which continues until 2 July. Dates in our region include the Key Theatre in Peterborough, Westcliff’s Palace Theatre, the Connaught Theatre in Worthing and Hastings White Rock Pavilion.
