Panto star returns to Darlington

Panto star returns to Darlington
Hot on the heels of his 2011 Pantomime success as Baron Hardup, popular comedian Jimmy Cricket returns to Darlington Civic Theatre on Wednesday 11 July with fellow comedy legend Mick Miller, in the Jimmy and Mick Show.

For one night only at the start of a nation-wide tour, these two legendary exponents of the art of comedy will be presenting a truly unique evening of fun and frivolity.

Following his successful Pantomime run, Jimmy declared the Darlington audiences very warm and receptive, and now wants to perform the stand up for which he is famed.

The pair have a unique place in the comedy Hall of Fame in the UK, with Mick receiving great praise and plaudits galore from his appearance in the 2010 Royal Command Variety performance.

Although of different styles of comedy and humour, both comedians complement one another and promise an unforgettable evening of hilarity.

Jimmy Cricket said, ‘It is a real thrill to be returning to the Civic Theatre in Darlington. It’s an ideal theatre for us comedians as it has an intimate setting that creates a great atmosphere.’

Mick Miller added, ‘I cannot think of a better starting point than Darlington and I know we are going to have a barrel of laughs. If you want a giggle or two, then hop down to the Civic Theatre because with the two of us on stage, it is going to be madcap fun and laughter all the way.’
