We, by chance, have just discovered this wonderful new theatre!
Above the Stag
We saw "Bath House the Musical" there (twice) and went back on Monday night for the First Birthday Celebrations of the theatre.
The Artistic director, Peter Bull, introduced a great show which included scenes and songs from past productions such as The Choir, American Briefs as well as Bath House.
The scene from "Busted Jesus Comix" (the next production) was really funny - so we hope to be able to go to see that too.
Then we were treated to a song from "Silence!" which moves there in January.

It's a good space isn't it. My show (wot I wrote) Dick Whittington - Another Dick in City Hall is on there from 1 December.

I disagree I went to the theatre above the stag to see bathhouse the play wasn't bad but it warranted a beter venue than what it was in. I found the theatre above the stag to be very grotty and the seating area is filthy. I really think they need to clean up their act there.
