Hi Does anyone know when the cast change is for the international tour of Mamma Mia?

The current cast finishes in Taiwan in the middle of November. The new cast will open in Newcastle some time in December.

Yeah 15th November the current cast finish, next cast start rehearsals at the beginning of November...

I am already planning Newcastle (was waiting on news of the cast) - and Basel, in Switzerland

Does anyone know if they've cast for it yet?

they have cast a few roles - but it hasn't been realised officially yet...

will mamma mia be touring any where else

The only 2 venues at the moment are Newcastle and Basel in (Switzerland)

So far I know Drew Campbell (HSM) and Nick Hayes (Wedding Singer) have both been cast - think Nick is first cover for either Sky or Eddie

Nick is 1st cover Sky, cos he has already told me....

And Gary Adam Watson is staying on as Sky this year as well.

It's also going to Germany, although not sure when and spending a few months in Cardiff. Not so international this year!

That sounds good.....

25th Mar - 28th Mar: Nurnberg - Germany

31 March - 4 April 2010 - Graz, Austria

13 April - 30 May 2010 - Basel, Switzerland

3rd June - 20 June 2010 - Liverpool, UK

Mamma mia is going to liverpool does anyone know if it will go to manchester

It went to Manchester a few years back, so it might not yet...

The tour is in New Zealand at the moment. Opened in Auckland this past Wednesday night.

Does anyone know which venue it is visiting in Liverpool, is it the arena or empire theatre - thanks!

Yes its at the arena but they are making the arena the size of a theatre so it should be ace

I've heard from the news that Helen Hobson will play Donna and Nikki Davis-Jones will play Sophie in Taiwan. Is that true? So the cast change when the tour come to Taiwan? Does anyone know??

Sorry to disappoint Ken but Helen Hobson isn't in the show, she was just in Taiwan as part of the promotional cast. Jackie Clune is currently playing Donna.

Thanks! I know the current Donna is Jackie Clune but I thought Taiwan maybe the first stop for cast change? Does anyone know more about this? I really apprecaite that!

Taiwan is actually the last venue for the current cast. Some of the cast are staying on next year and go straight into rehearsals when they get back to London. Jackie will continue to play Donna in 2010.

I met Gary Watson yesterday and he told me that he'll stay in the tour until next year! He's such a nice person!
