I loved it. The first half not so much but after the interval I think they nailed it and the end was brilliant. I had seen JM on the telly a few years ago showing how he would direct the end and he did - Mimi quite still. We had an 'understudy'[ or rather another person as opera they don't really have understudies do they?] for Mimi, excellent. I think from what I have read in the reviews, we got lucky! Anyone else seen this?

Yes, I enjoyed it up to a point, but I thought the cramped garret room was a problem. Some uneven singing too, but an intelligent production overall.
