The cast of The Lion King are to join the 74-piece BBC Concert Orchestra and West End and Broadway stars including Ashley Brown, Tituss Burgess, Kerry Butler, Maria Friedman, Heather Headley, Adam Pascal, Matt Rawle and Drew Sarich, to record a special edition of Radio 2’s Friday Night Is Music Night celebrating the music of Disney. The concert, which will be recorded on 8 December and broadcast on Boxing Day, will include Oscar, Grammy and Tony Award-winning songs from over 65 years of Disney musicals.

I heard on Radio 2 yesterday that Josh Grobin is going to be hosting this concert - should be amazing!
