Hi, was anybody else at the weakest link recording yesterday, with the west end stars?
I was there, and I thought it was really good fun, all the actors and actresses were great sports and I chuckled my way through. I can't wait till this is on TV!!
Anyway, just wondered if anybody else was there... I won't give too much away for those who want to wait to see it TV!

Oh sorry!! lol yeah there was:
Summer Strallen (SOM)
Dianne Pilkington (Wicked)
Ben Ellis (Hairspray)
Joanna Munro (Mamma Mia)
Rachel Tucker (WWRY)
Ryan Molloy (Jersey Boys)
Mark Goldthorp (Avenue Q)
Simon Bailey (Phantom)
Matt Rawle (Zorro)
So I was quite impressed with the line up! They were all in costume and the names on their stands were their character names

Yeah, the producer said it'll be on between Christmas and New Year

They made us take off any poppies and kept saying stuff like "Come on, it's Christmas!!" lol.

How did they make you take off your poppies, and what would they have done if you had refused? And why the hell should it make any difference whether it is Christmas or not? I would have put it back on again during the transmission.

They were obviously making a christmas special - and they can make you leave the filming!

It may be a Christmas special but why bother with the pretense that it was filmed at Christmas? It's hardly a trade secret that these specials are often recorded many months in advance. In fact, this practice is so well known that when you see audiences dressed up like it's Christmas it's safer to assume they've been set up that way than that it's late December.

I dont think the audience is usually shown at ll anyway.
They also made people with too light clothing put black tshirts on over the top.

LMAO. Summer told us about this a while back but she didnt tell us that they were dressing up in character. I don't expect you to tell me who won or anything but did Summer do okay?? And Dianne?

I too was there and thought it was a great show - just hope loads isn't cut.
Yes Summer did well and so did Diane- actually they all did but they all also gave a silly answer at some point but then am sure nerves had a lot to do with it.
Anne Robinson is scarey!!
ETA After the show I booked tickets for Zorro - It sounds like a great show

Just to bump this and remind ppl... it's being shown on News Years Eve (31st December

) at 8.00pm
The Radio Times says that there are 2 Strictly Weakest Link specials, but I can confirm that they made a mistake and the one on News Year Eve is definitely the West End stars one!!
Can't wait

Just caught up with this on the BBC Iplayer, and enjoyed the heck out of it.
However I was dissapointed by the non-answers to some of the general questions. To borrow a line from friends, thank God they're pretty

(and Summer really is gorgeous)

Indeed they are, but the answers did make for good television...I was in fits of laughter most of the way through

I really liked the fact that none of them were particularly put out with sparring with Anne, and that most of their post-elimination bits weren't just bitching about the other contestants as usually happens.
And poor Dianne, she seemed legitimately upset at having to be the deciding vote to break the two ties
