As it is said that Ashley is returning to the show on 12th Oct am I right to believe that Scarlett will be doing her last performance on 10th Oct? Can't wait to see her again!

No- the main female character in The Go-Between is also called Marian (and it's also set in the early C20, though in upper class England rather than small town America). Fantastic book, could make a very good musical.
