The hardest profession in the world, hard work.....
One of the hardest shows to pull off me things would be more appropriate... I'm holding out for a "No names" cast so as to let a truly young and energetic cast get to grips with the show, although I fear some minor celeb will get in their somewhere.
Hey ho, its another show out on the road and for that we must be grateful. Best of luck to those at the finals this week!

To be fair they need the West End casst to be in it, some good dancers in it like Hannah Job, Kevin Maguire, Sean Selby, Fem Beling.Oh and George Maguire as Joe Vegas, was such a great cast last year.

Shame the tour cast were better than the west end cast. The only two in the west end cast I actually liked and that was Fem Belling and Natalie Hope.

I don't think all the cast have been confirmed yet - a friend of mine just had a recall for one of the roles.
I agree Natalie Hope was great in the West End cast.

My favourite cast was the Victoria Palace closing cast before it transfered to the Cambridge with Nicola Dawn as Serena and Mazz Murray as Mabel. The final performances was one of the most hilarious nights I've spent in the theatre.

Fame has an amazing track record of finding the young, unknown actors and giving them the boost into the professional world. So many great performers, big names and excellent ensemble members, have been part of Fame over the years.

The first time I saw Julie Atherton was when she played Serena at the Edinburgh Playhouse nearly five years ago. She's certainly gone a long way since then.

my point being it wasn't that he wasn't asked to stay on, he's simply moved to another stage ent production.
If you're only on here to make stupid, unhelpful, moderately sarcastic (i won't credit you with the idea you have the brains to truly be sarcastic and witty).. please, if this is the case.. Don't post!

oh unnamed guest - YOU know you meant "Stage Entertainment" - as in, naming the company.
Your post read as "stage entertainment"- as in, a form of entertainment that is staged. Although I am quite familiar with the company name and some of their productions, I had no idea you were referring to the producers. Perhaps you should consider how your posts will read, and include some element of disambiguation.

We've got a show LIKE Fame - Footloose! And Britannia High starting on TV....
Tho I actually agree, Fame is such a good intro to theatre for star-struck kids! And it's fun, and spectacular dance. As long as it has a strong cast, and it usually does.

For many shows the choreography
does change. In a few cases some specific choreography is so integral a part of the show that a production is expected to reproduce it as a condition of the licence, but for others the production will bring in a choreographer to create the dance from scratch.

Ok so im not being funnny but im a dance captain thats worked on alot of shows which means rehearsing cast changes or tour casts or west end cast, like i said a few changes our made yes, alot of shows does not get a new choreographer in to change everything, CHICAGO,FAME,WE WILL ROCK YOU,CABERET,EVITA ETCall these shows and many more will remain the same for example WE WILL ROCK YOU IN LONDON AND GERMANY SAME CHOREOGRAPHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY. Production companies does not have the time to keep changing stuff let alone the money, also for example, choreographers like Arlene and Karen, Anthony and steven wont be asked to do shoes and wont accept if thety cant keep rights of the choreography

What I meant was, the choreography only remains the same if it's basically the same production. Different productions have different choreography, just as they have different directors. The current tour of Evita, for example, has completely different choreography from the London production of two years ago. I've known of cases where a show has wanted to reproduce the choreography of an earlier production and has been forbidden from doing so.
In the case of shows like Fame or Chicago the tour is/was essentially a reproduction of the West End show so the choreography is obviously going to be the same, but your claim was "if
any show goes on tour the whole choreography doesn't change" [emphasis mine], and in the general case that's not true.
