An Enemy of the Circle
Well it was just great to be back here for it's reopening, especially having been there on the final nt in Feb.

As for the play...well it's different to the usual Playhouse fayre. Pitched somewhere between slapstick and panto, this did very little for me. Ms Eclair acted in a way that was not the most subtle portrayal and her housemate was nothing other than a wimpering punchbag.

The whole thing seemed like a cross 'tween recent productions at The Royal Court, Lpool (tho' not as good) and the kinda plays that Morecambe & Wise used to put together at the end of their shows - Rubbish! Well not that, but 2/5 for me.

Still being able to attend was sufficient tonite.

I'm booked in to see it - wish I could've been there last night for the Grand Re-Opening!

Well there were quite a few snaps being taken, etc and the vibe was good.

Hopefully the next few productions will be along the lines of 'proper' theatre.

There was a 2:1 tkt offer, but they still cost £24 - not cheap for a first nt if you were attending as a single. All in a good cause though.
