Just seen the website for Menier and the next show is The White Devil by Webster.

Cast list looks quite interesting.

Indeed! I strategically skipped the current show, but I'm rather looking forward to this one! biggrin.gif

Yes, that looks very interesting indeed, and I see that Claire Price is in it, which alone is almost enough to make me book for it. But the only possible day for me would be Nov 12, and I've already got a ticket for the first preview performance of the RSC's new The Tragedy of Thomas Hobbes on that night. Hmmm. First previews are often a bit hit and miss (or total crap), so I suppose I'm leaning towards maybe returning the RSC ticket and getting one for this instead. And I see that Jonathan Munby is directing, yes, I think I'm definately going to have to ditch the RSC one and get myself a ticket for this.

I've now bought myself a ticket for this, as I like to see any production by the Jacobean playwrights whenever I can. Alnoor, thanks for the heads up, will you be seeing this?

White Devil - is that the one with the line we think caged birds sing when indeed they cry?

I certainly hope I can see this. Need to sort out my date though--have already got the following booked for November--Mariza ( Barbican), LLL , Dream and Hamlet at RSC, King Lear at Liverpool, Creditors (Donmar), War Horse (NT), Ivanov (Wyndhams) and Oedipus(NT). Having listed all of these--I am thinking--may not book for White Devil!!!!

You do get about, eh, Alnoor? I've booked Oedipus and the Wyndhams lot. You'll like Hamlet.
