Louise is titled the "west end girl" in the recent touring production of Evita but I have never seen her in anything performance related before. I had never heard of her til she started touring in Kenwright's production. I am aware she did Guys and Dolls at the Piccaddily Theatre, but that's all I know of. She seems to have done more tours. However, why, I do not know! She blew my mind as Eva Peron. Stunning voice, stunning person and beautifully acted! What a star! Would love to see her in Wicked as Elphaba! Or maybe even Elle Woods when Legally Blonde opens! Although there is talk that Jennifer Ellison is taking on Elle's character? She was supposedly cast as Belle in Only The Brave (Niamh Perry's role) but could not take on the role due to her new commitments with Evita. I would pay big money to see her as Belle. She would have been so much better and convincing.

I totally agree. I saw her in Guys and Dolls and in Make me a song and each time she blew me away. She did the most stunning rendition of Anytime in Make me a song. I do hope she soon gets the recognition she deserves.

OMG, Louise would have been amazing as Belle. She has a great voice and is a great actress as well!
Don't get me wrong, Niamh has a lovely voice and is still very young, so I am sure will improve on her acting, but in Only The Brave her acting and even worse that of the other TV contestant Keith Jack, stood out like a sore thumb compared to the rest of the cast.

I saw Louise Dearman as Eva recently and she was BRILLIANT

one of my new favourites..though i admit i hadnt really heard much about her before...but she and Kerry ellis are my favourite stars at the minute.. I want to go see Legally blonde but if Jennifer Ellison is in it i REFUSE TO. I saw her in Chicago and it was a HUGE dissappointment cause she was absolutely awful.

Re Louise Dearman - saw her the other night in Evita at Leeds Grand and despite 2 fire alarms at the start and interval in the show delaying it by 1 hour, the cast were seemingly unaffected and Louise in particular was stunning. Her voice (a la Streisand at times) was perfection and her acting superb...a brilliant leading lady destined for great things

Why has she not been bigger before now though? I thought she was brilliant, yet so unknown x

I work at the Grand Theatre Leeds and saw Louise in Guys and Dolls last year she was by far the best in that production but wow I have loved the musical Evita since first seeing it when I was about 12 at the grand in leeds! Louise is the most incredable musical theatre performer on a level with greats like Kerry Ellis and Summer/Scarlett Strallen. I read she would love to play Glinda in Wicked, wow! but I think she could so be Elpheba. Her amazing voice imagine Defying Gravity?
She rocks I think the next role Louise takes on will be a west end one and a great one at that.
If you get a chance go see Evita the best production we have had on tour at the grand by far.

Not sure when it's in Southampton, but I believe she's been signed off for a couple of weeks because of throat problems...

She is amazing! I would love to see her in "Les Miserables" as either Fantine or Eponine. I would pay huge amounts to hear her sing "On My Own"! God it would be like hearing her sing "You Must Love Me" again! Agree she should be Elphaba - defo! Or the Narrator in Joseph. I know she's done it before but to see her do it on the West End would be awesome! Just a brilliant talent! Such an inspiration!

Both amazing shows and I do hope either one of them beckons her! She has the strong emotional depth for Les Mis but she would be amazing in Wicked too! I just dont understand why she hasnt been picked up before now x

Have you heard about her cabaret? She performed one back in August and it was a huge success. She's doing another one at Madame Jojo's on Sunday 15th November at 7pm called Dearie Me...She's Back! I know it's going to be AMAZING, the last one just blew me away- she had the audience in the palm of her hand, I don't think anyone even took a breath. Louise is so fantastic! I hope you can come

I was there and can vouch for that, her voice is sublime and her comic timing is fantastic.. I rate her voice up there with Kerry Ellis who for some is the top of the tree for great voices. I would love to see Louise in something in the WE because she deserves it but would hesitate to say Wicked (which most people seem to mention with her name) cos of what it brings with the fans. However Wicked and other big shows would bring her some recognition that she deserves. I would also love to see her as Killer Queen but Mazz is never going to leave that show...Her Anytime makes me cry everytime.

After never having seen or heard anything from this lady, I went to her cabaret at Madame Jo Jo's last night and completely fell in love with her!! Not only does she have a fantastic voice, she came across as really warm and genuine and really made me laugh. Can't wait for her next gig when she "returns from panto land"
