Can anyone help? I have heard that Bonnie Langford has extended her stay in Chicago until 23rd February and that Matt Di'Angelo is taking over from Duncan James when his contract is up but does anyone have any other news? I would love to know who is due to be playing Roxie Hart when Bonnie leaves. If anyone can help me with any news at all I would really appreciate it. Thanks

Matt wont begin until Feb 25th at the earliest as Duncan James leaves Feb 9th and Terence Maynard will be Billy 11th Feb until 23rd Feb.
I understand also that Leigh Zimmerman returns as Velma on Feb 25th.

A stop gap Velma I would say and Matt may take over after Terence Maynard but then again someone else might I heard too!!!!

Ive only seen Cameron in the ensemble and she was good but I still haven't been able to see her as Roxie. I cannot say I'm a fan of hers but I did join her Yahoo group awhile ago ~

Bonnie leaves a day early on Friday 22nd Feb so she can appear on Ants and Dec's pathetic show again!

I'm sure I am hoping against hope but if it is Josefina Gabrielle I will be there!!! She is the best Roxie that I have ever seen, absolutely stunning to watch and very funny. No one has beaten her and I have seen a few Roxie's. She is still in The 39 Steps as far as I am aware so I am sure she won't be back for a while.

I sincerely hope not. She is a phenominal Velma. But she'd be terrible as Roxie...

I think the Roxie's from the Russian production... will she be good? Cuz they had an Italian Billy Flynn before and he wasn't that good and with his accent... pretty much just blah ~ hope she's not!

Seven years ago there was Sacha Distel's Billy Flynn, with an accent so thick that I couldn't work out what he was saying even though I'd seen the show often enough to know the words.

I mean for Billys, it's good to have a good Billy, and if the performer is good, the role SHINES, but overall for me it's quite a blah role cuz the main focus is on Roxie/Velma so if Billy or Amos are not good, I just try to ignore them. I've sat through bad Roxies, but at least I can understand them all. I'm not sayin she's goin to be bad haha Actually I'm just glad I can be seein a new Roxie

Saw her the other night,very unimpressed and I would say the worst London Roxie ever,well that I have seen anyway and makes me thinks the producers and casting people have run out of ideas and the theatre was half empty!

As I said befoe they should have given Cameron leigh a chance

Up to you of course, but why do you not want to see Birgitte?

I'm not so much avoiding seeing her...but more I'd rather see one of the understudies.
