• Interests:I enjoy seeing shows more than once (after cast changes) so I can compare performances. I also enjoy following the careers of people and witnessing their versatility in differing roles.

We spend 20% of our income on Theatre tickets as we get so much pleasure from it. Mind you, we are cutting down this year as our daughter gets married in October. It’s killing me though!

I'd like to utilise this new facility by advertising an off-Broadway Charity Concert that I organise each year.

It's quite a long way off-Broadway - it's at the Palace Theatre in Mansfield!

We price the tickets at only £3 to encourage people that wouldn't usually attend the theatre to give it a try and to make it affordable for everyone.

We also hold it on a Sunday afternoon so that our target audience (families and community groups) feel safer being out at that time rather than in the evening.

People are usually so delighted with the show only costing them the price of a pint that they spend lots of money on the Charity stalls in the Foyer - so we all benefit.

This year we have the beautiful and talented Miss Leanne Pinder performing for us (currently a Ga Ga Girl in We Will Rock You) amongst others.

Please access our Charity Website www. yvettesbook. com
under 'Concert' for further details.

I defy you to find a better value-for-money, feel-good show for three quid!

I would love to be able to attend your Charity concert at the Palace. I am Mansfield born and bred and remember many happy evenings sitting in the balcony of the Palace which later became the Civic Hall (delighted to see that it is back to its original name). I even remember repertory companies performing there as well as touring variety shows and pantomimes. Those were the days. Anyway, I wish you well for a very successful evening. Meanwhile I will make do with London!!!!
