Does anyone know a decent but not expensive place to eat before Lear , somewhere near the theatre? There will be 7 of us and I'm paying! It is just a few steps away from the 'main drag' as they say and I can't recall what's near. Ta

Sapori on Drury Lane is a cheap 'n' cheerful Italian. Or the Times has vouchers for Pizza Express this week which are valid all through November with the interesting twist of Buy One Main Course, Get the More Expensive One Free. Of course, you'd need to check whether that would hep with a whole party

One to avoid: the chinese "cafe" north of the New London, on Drury Lane. One of the worst meals I've ever had.
