Then later in the show, just by the marble staircase, a character having an outburst of rage grabbed me by the neck and dragged me to look in a mirror next to him. He pulled off my mask and upon seeing my white lips horror and fury poured out of him. It was amazing. He made me look at our faces in the mirror and screamed "WHAT DO YOU SEE??" Our shadowy faces and mywhite lips in the mirror looked so eerie. It was amazing.
Anyone else?

I didn't have painted white lips but I had the same experience with that man and the mirror. We looked in the mirror for ages, then another character came along and gave him a ring, which he put on the antlers of one of the mini deer statues on the table. He looked at me again and then whispered "You can never understand" in my ear before running off.
The best bit though was when I was stood watching the nurse - she looked up at me in horror, then grabbed a bottle of some kind of ointment and started chucking it at me. When I didn't move, she locked us in the room, then took my mask off and pushed herself right up against me, warning me about the Red Death. She told me about how one of the symptoms is blood seeping from the pores - then took my left hand to wash it. I couldn't see what she was doing as she was in the way, but when she moved away the basin of water was tinged with blood! She told me to promise I would be at Prince Prospero's ball and dance with her - then kissed me on the cheek, unlocked the door and ran off! It was the same girl who painted my nails while straddling me in Faust - awesome!
I thought the whole thing was amazing but it couldn't equal the awesomeness of Faust. What they'd done with the BAC was absolutely amazing and it was worth seeing for that alone - I kept thinking I'd seen everything and then I'd find another staircase and set of rooms - and I loved being able to sit in the Palais Royale but then also watch the acts from backstage as well. But despite there being so much to see bits of it were a bit cramped, particularly around the staircase - with so many people trying to see I ended up feeling like we were all tourists trying to see the Mona Lisa in the Louvre or something like that. I don't really remember ever feeling like that with Faust. I was also a little disappointed with the finale this time (which of course in Faust was just stunning) - the great hall itself looked amazing, but after all the build-up I don't think they quite did it justice. So I didn't come home almost unable to find words to explain the greatness of it (as I did with faust!) but it was a great evening.
