So what do people think of the New London Rep Company taking residencey at The Venue? is this a good thing? does the idea of REP theatre in the west end work?

I've missed this story; are they subsidised?

Anyway, it sounds like a good idea to me, artistically, but it might struggle, as REP tends not to appeal to the coach trade that keeps the West End going.

It would help to respond to your questions, Laughingmonsta, if you were to provide some basic information for people here to think about. For example, the London Rep Company (thread title) or the New London Rep Company (your post): but what is it called by the people involved in it? Who are the people running or appearing with this company? Why have they decided to appear at the Venue? Where is that, btw?

Your questions could produce interesting answers or at least replies, but you need to give us something to consider via background information. I'll happily read anything you can link to, and I'm sure other posters here would do the same.

Thanks.
