I went to see Fame last night, as I have a friend in the ensemble [Rock On Nat.]. I have seen the show a few times now and was expecting pretty much the same tired old thing, but I was amazed at how different the show is compared to the previous West End/Touring show.

I loved the new set/costumes and though the cast were vvv strong! I [believe it or not] LOVED IT!, and think it's a shame that it's off so soon. Does anyone know if there are rumours to move it? it really has put a burst of energy into it....and is it the same Director etc. that did the old version?...Need info, and what does everyone think? x

I've seen it twice and apart from fem belling and natalie hope - i thought it was crap compared to the UK tour that has just finished!

There was no chemistry between ian and natalie c , natalie c can't sing in tune - and please would someone teach that woman to wear a bra on stage!! Desi is one of the worst Tyrones I have seen - I was too impressed by Taz (the 1 u/s) on the tour to start with but by the time I saw him in the role again - he had improved - Desi on the other hand hasn't!

I think apart from Fem and Natalie (as manetioned above) they made a huge mistake with who was cast in this show!!

Bring back the tour cast is what I think!

Personally, i am of the opinion that you cant polish a turd.

It really needs to go now and stay out of London.

I'm going to disagree, I thought Casey was very sweet ...a unique voice, and Desi was awesome ...such a talent!

In my opinion anyone interested in improving himself should not rule out becoming pure energy.

I'm afraid I'm of the same opinion..........

The best thing about the West End production of Fame is the set!............

The touring production had a far superior cast........

Sorry! sad.gif

That sounds like a cue for a joke about one being a piece of ancient, dried-up crap and the other being a dinosaur coprolite. So there it was.
