So, it's the characters from Phantom, but at the pace of The Woman in White!

(Seems someone has "spoiler-ised" my post so just highlight it to see the text underneath) :-)

Spoiler

Just wish, apart from a very few highlights, that it wasn't so boring!

ALW needs Tim Rice (or even Don Black) back!

(cool projections though, unlike TWIW)

I know this is always a debate thats never really worked out with lyrics in the original and everything, but i presume she was made pregnant before she escaped. I know however about how the lyrics in the original upset this theory.

And why does it even have to be the case? Phantom did not foster Christine after the death of her father because he was related to her.

Being his son, makes the attachment too acceptable and easy. Surely more dramatic would be the Phantom stealing/ drawing in a child to whom he had no rightful claim, but which represented a small piece of Christine that he could keep. That make make for torn loyalties and shades of grey. Tug of love between parents- just simplistic musical Kramer vs Kramer.
