The Picc is my guess. David Ian (also Grease), looking for a medium-to-big house that can hold a 27 piece orchestra and large cast..... Grease can't have much more run in it at that size house so he'll either move it or close it and Gypsy will go in there later this year I reckon.

I really hope this materializes. It would be amazing to have Patti back in London!

It's such a prized role it would have some of our Brit leading ladies frothy at the mouth. Would they do a takeover at the end of Patti's run?

Does anyone have more news on whether this revival is going to happen this year? I saw Patti in the show on Broadway and she was absolutely brilliant in the role. Fingers crossed it comes to London!!

I really hope Gypsy does make it to London. Patti Lupone was outstanding on Broadway and I'd love to see her reprise the role here

Patti LuPone in Gypsy is simply one of those performances you've got to see! We saw her in Gypsy in New York at New Year, 2008/9 and it was a fantastic performance... definitely one you want to be able to say you've seen yourself! The entire cast was excellent as well.
