John Fulljames brilliant production comes back of Johathan Dove’s great musical

The new cast is Michelle Cornelius, Beverly Klein, Karina Lewis, Kate Nelson, Terel Nugent, Jo Servi, Tom Solomon, Simon Wilding

It starts at the Linbury and then goes on to 5 other venues including New York

I loved it and the Young Vic and I’m so glad it’s coming back. I hope it’s recorded this time

I saw this a couple of years ago at the YV too. One of the women kept spitting everywhere whenever she sang, and put a lot of emphasis on her "p"s.

What an amazing cast -- I am such a fan of anything Beverley Klein does! With the cast listed -- does anyone know if it's being done more as a musical than an opera this time round (maybe less singer spitting with musical theatre singers???)?

By chance I heard a few minutes of this on Radio 3 yesterday afternoon. The bit I heard sounded extremely operatic! Lovely, but operatic.
Ooh, that Bernadette Shaw - what a chatterbox!

I went last night . it's brilliant, very 'enchanting'. Great story, brilliantly told and perfect for this time of year. The adults and the children in the audience all appeared to love it

All the cast are stunning especially Beverley Klein & Tom Soloman

I heard that this show was brilliant (and read more great reviews in the Sundays) -- How long will it be on at the Linbury -- does it keep going in and out of rep with other things? I'm in Manchester and might even come down to London to see it.

Saw this today at the 2 p.m. matinee through a special Guardian offer (go the website via www.roh.org.uk/guardian and you have the option of booking available seats for just £10.) We had great seats and thought it was a fabulous show - beautiful design, great singing, a very enjoyable holiday treat.
