£8 to see Rory Kinnear and Anna Maxwell Martin seems like a very good deal (Measure for Measure at the Almeida next spring). Does anyone know what the restricted view seats are like at the Almeida? I've only been there a couple of times and always in good ones, but now I'm on a sabbatical and watching the £££

For £8 you'll have to look round a pillar - but they're not too big, and the stage is very close. I think they're fantastic value, and I've never been overly distracted by the pillars.

Oh those seats are fine. As Annie said, they're not big pillars and the theatre is so intimate even the back row seats are fine.

Tried to book mine today but their booking system seems to be broken.
Don't bother, I'm here...

Why not book the free tickets instead!? I'm guessing you've already used yours, unlike me. I decided to save them for Measure for Measure, this should no doubt be brilliant.

Ahh...am student but a 'mature' one. I have a 16-25 travelcard which causes my 40-something mates much hilarity, but I don't think it works for theatre tickets.
