Hello all!
My name is Daniel Gregory and I am in my final year studying Bsc(HONS) Quantity Surveying at Swansea Metropolitan University.
At present I am working on a dissertation which is based upon the acoustic qualities of concert halls, theatres and multi-purpose venues. Foremost, I am looking at how multi-purpose venues can be designed to incorporate a good quality of sound to various selections of the performing arts. From this information I shall find out how they compare acoustically to venues designed for a more specified performing art.
I am currently looking to organise a few interviews from certain individuals who have a good knowledge on performance venues. In particular at the moment I would like to interview people who specialise as a sound technician or designer, an acoustic consultant, an experienced actor/actress and a theatre director.
