ALW was really fun and chatted to the audience in the ad breaks, as did Dawn French who was lovely and very stunning. Jason seemed a bit grumpy on the whole and kept himself to himself. During one of the ad breaks a loser from the audience who was sitting near me tried to blag free tickets for Viva Forever from Mel C, which didn't go down too well. Mel was the most relaxed Judge and really supported each performance. There was some major flirting going on between Mel and Jason too. And as for Amanda Holdon? Well, I felt quite sorry for her actually. Our night was the one where she completely messed up a) the performer's names and
And to the poster on here who implied that David was only nice when the cameras are rolling - absolute rubbish! He seemed to me like a genuine northern lad. On Thursday evening he was the first guy to come over and thank for audience for their support and he was genuinely upset about Niall leaving the show. I'm sure all the would be Jesus' are stressed enough and well aware that ALW has already decided the winner to even bother trying to play up to the camera or play games. From what I witnessed they were all very supportive of each other.
Jesus summary - Personally, my only negative comment would be towards Ben who, out of all of them, did have an element of 'jazz hands and showbiz smile' whenever the cameras where on him which was a bit cheesy. And, although the Judges raved about him, the people near us didn't really rate his performance. He was good but nothing special. Rodger is very sexy but needs to keep his right leg still when he sings - he constantly jigs it up and down in a very 'dad dancing' like manner. David was superb the night I saw him, but agree with previous posts on here that he has a tendency to overact. Nathan has huge thighs which he insists in squeezing into trousers 2 sizes too small for him but he is very very engaging to watch. I don't think he is likeable enough to win. Jeff was very good but, once again, was given a rubbish song to sing so didn't get the opportunity to show off his strengths. Rory is tiny, like a jockey and, although he has an excellent voice, was quite forgettable. I can see why he ended up in the bottom two that night. Jon seemed to be a really nice person and his voice sounds better live than on TV.
I wish them the very best as no matter who wins they have all done incredibly well to cope with ITV's complete massacre of a previously successful format. Bring back the BBC and Graham Norton pronto!
