#248488 A Warning For Those Booking For The Bodyguard And Wanting To See Heather

I do think this is very very poor on their front not to have her do at least one matinee.
The producers of The Bodyguard cannot guarantee the appearance of any particular artist, which is always subject to illness and holidays. Heather Headley is expected to appear at all evening performances excluding Monday 21- Wednesday 23 January inclusive and Monday 18 - Saturday 23 March inclusive. Gloria Onitiri will perform the role of Rachel Marron at all Wednesday and Saturday matinee performances.

#246492 New Season At The Finborough Theatre - January To March 2012

Winter Season 2013 | January to March 2013
The Finborough Theatre is honoured to have just been announced the winner of the Peter Brook Empty Space Award for the second time.
Our new Winter Season 2013 continues our policy of acclaimed rediscoveries (London Wall by John van Druten, and Laburnum Grove by J.B. Priestley), combined with new writing (premieres of two controversial new plays, both inspired by true stories – So Great A Crime, the true story of a well loved national hero accused of paedophilia; and Facts, an intriguing murder mystery set in the West Bank, investigated by two detectives – one Palestinian and the other Israeli. We also continue our commitment to championing the 'other' languages of the British Isles on the London stage with English premieres of Somersaults, a stunning new play by Scots Gaelic playwright Iain Finlay Macleod, and Saer Doliau, a modern Welsh classic by Gwenlyn Parry.
The season opens with the English premiere of Iain Finlay Macleod’s Somersaults, directed by Russell Bolam, playing from 2 January–26 January 2013. On Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays 6, 7, 8, 13, 14, 15, 20, 21 and 22 January 2013 is the world premiere of So Great A Crime, written and directed by David Gooderson.
February sees the first London production for more than 80 years of London Wall by John Van Druten, directed by Tricia Thorns, playing 29 January–23 February 2013. It is accompanied on Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays, 3, 4, 5, 10, 11, 12, 17, 18 and 19 February 2013 by the English premiere of Gwenlyn Parry's modern Welsh-language classic Saer Doliau, performed in Welsh with English subtitles.
The season comes to a close with Canadian playwright Arthur Milner's provocative Facts, set in the Occupied Territories, directed by Caitlin McLeod, playing 26 February–23 March 2013, accompanied by the first London production in nearly 40 years of Laburnum Grove by J.B. Priestley, playing Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays on 3, 4, 5, 10, 11, 12, 17, 18 and 19 March 2013.

As for the shows you have closing next year, let's think about what's replacing them:
Cabaret - no idea what's opening at the Savoy when that closes, could be anything really
Shrek - replaced by Charlie, starring Douglas Hodge and who knows who else, likely to be a huge spectacular show
Dreamboats - isn't even in a musical house, no wonder a play's taking over again
Taboo - not playing a traditional theatre venue
Chicago tour - there will be other tours to employ all those actors next year
Once has a larger cast than Blood Brothers (and one that requires quadruple threats as it's an actor muso show). Ghost is being replaced by Viva Forever, starring the great Sally Ann Triplett and a hugely talented young cast. Grease went years ago. Legally was replaced by Cabaret, and WOZ is of course being replaced by Chorus Line.
Of course all these things are down to personal taste, but I'm not sure what you want to see that means the new shows we're getting aren't exciting.

I do think Moulin Rouge would work live though.
