So, those of you who are knowledgeable about the Drury Lane - if you were taking an 11 year old and you were offered seats A 19 and 20 or E 3 and 4, which would you go for? It looks as if the seating slants in towards the front so 3 and 4 wouldn't be quite so far to the side as they sound. I do like the front but second row is just a bit too close for this, no?

I've sat very close to those seats in row A for Shrek - loved it.  My daughter is 12 and found the seats perfect because nobody was in front of her and the rake is not great in front stalls.  The stage is very low and we actually felt part of the show.

I would love to see this back in London with the Australian version and agree that the score is excellent.  I will definitely be keeping my fingers crossed that this happens.

I thought that Dean Chisnall did a wonderful job as Shrek and to be cast from understudy was a great achievement.  It will be interesting to see what he goes on to do now.  I agree with FireFingers the last cast were all very good and definitely lifted the show to another level. IMO Carley Stenson made Fiona real, Kimberley Walsh and Amanda Holden just seemed like Kimberley Walsh and Amanda Holden trying to be Fiona.

Relegating nominees to the circle is appalling.  I am imagining them picking up their tickets with a glimmer of hope only to be kicked in the teeth and 'sent to the circle!'.  At that point I think I would've turned around and gone home to watch Dancing on Ice!  To not even read out the nominee names was also unbelievably insensitive - poor show WOS.

Well according to the blurb Milton Keynes is the most successful theatre outside London's West End.  I'm not sure if that means attendance figures, but that could be a reason?
