Hilarious article in the DM about the BoM here. http://www.dailymail...Gods-earth.html Completely missing the point of the whole thing (claiming that it 'makes fun of raping babies and female genital mutilation') and pretty much trying to dismiss it as a flash in the pan successful only due to the PR campaign. I particularly like how it tries to suggest that the Twitter quotes on the posters are made up.
It's also pretty poorly researched - the author also seems to be under the impression, or at least tries to imply, that you have to pay £20 just to enter the lottery. He also says that Parker and Stone backed out of depicting Muhammed in South Park at the last minute, when that was actually purely a network decision.
Ah DM, so predictable, you do amuse me...

Probably not, but could have got someone else to do it or the paper could have got them after being tipped off. No doubt that someone on the inside has been talking judging by the quotes in the articles, and there's clearly no love lost there.

What a mess. The line from the 'insider' about Gina 'putting herself out there as this squeaky-clean actress' seems particularly spiteful coming apparently from a colleague. Such a horrible and awkward situation.

All pretty sad for everyone concerned, but I guess these things happen particularly in 'show business' circles where people tend to form intense relationships.
It does seem like a pretty tense situation for the cast. The Twitter silence is weird - I guess Gina and Ben might have asked people not to comment so that they don't draw more attention to it or inadvertently confirm anything. But looking back it seems like the cast as a whole have been a lot quieter of late on Twitter than they were last year (particularly towards Gina over the last few months maybe?). And the bit in the article about the effect on the cast certainly makes it seem like someone has been blabbing from the inside... Trouble in Oz?
