What is the duration of the show? I have tried looking on the website, but it doesn't say!
In the programme it says 2hrs 40mins including interval :)

#254893 9 To 5: The Musical

I went last Saturday afternoon in York. I didn't know anything about the show before I went other than knowing the title track and seeing the cast perform on This Morning, which I really enjoyed. I didn't enjoy the show that much though, I thought the storyline was just too silly. I liked the music, and thought it was clever how Dolly Parton appeared in it. I would have liked to have seen Ben in it, so was a bit disappointed he had left by then, I liked how they showed the cast's names at the curtain call. Overall I am glad I went but won't be rushing to see it again.

Wicked is gonna run longer than just 10 years... It still sells out most performances and is continually ranked the top musical in London!

Where did you read this? I'm guessing if it does close, it'll be July 2013 (next cast change). But I'm still finding it surprising, because as far as I know, ticket sales have been extremely good and the show doesn't even do any discounts!

That's never been strictly true, the box office do discount on the day if you ask.  But yes, I've never seen it do regular discounts.

I wouldn't be surprised if it closes some time this year, but I'm dubious about the Commitments - there's no way that will sell as well as Singin in the Rain.  I'd be more inclined to believe a closure rumour if a different show was rumoured to be going in.  But a rumour is all it is anyway without any verifiable sourced information.

#251182 Gypsy With Imelda Staunton

Well Imelda Staunton and indeed her husband are performing and being interviewed at David Bedella and friends on Thursday night. I went to the last event with Nigel Planer and he spilled some news about another big show of 2013 so hopefully Imelda will at this one! I'd thoroughly recommend the night btw, they seem to be a bit useless at promoting it so not many people know about it but the last one had amazing performances from Daniel Boys, Heather Headleys stand in and Ray Shell in a very cosy bar.
