Yes. Sensible pricing, is the tide finally starting to turn in that regard? *crosses fingers*.

Really pleased it's coming in, am already looking forward to seeing it again. Does this mean Morahan can be nominated for (and win) the Olivier next year?

Although the premium seats are mighty expensive...

She won't be eligible for next year's Olivier Awards, having already played that role in the same production in an eligible theatre.

Are they seriously expecting people to pay £25 for a show when they don't even know what it is...?  (even though we now all do know!)

The Menier doesn't either. The director took over a part in a show a couple of years back

Yes indeed.  Maria Friedman was off, so director Ian Talbot stood in for her, complete with script, dress, wig and mysteriously jangling boobs.

Thought this was excellent.  Theatre not very full this afternoon, but an ecstatic reception at the end.  Go see.

So pleased that Tamsin Carroll is getting a leading role in a musical.  She was excellent in both of last year's shows at the Open Air Theatre in Regent's Park (Emma Goldman in Ragtime, Titania in AMSND) and was woefully underused in the frivolously awful production of The Magistrate.  At least Sheader has recognised her talent.
