We loved the show - great cast, great story, witty and moving songs. Clearly not the biggest budget but very well staged (special mention to Pola Negri!) Highly recommended!
Oops! Hadn't spotted the European cross dressing theme! (Although La Cage was a huge hit with them!) Just meant that my guests like fairly traditional musicals with hummable tunes (although that is not strictly true since the adore Sondheim too!) . Thanks for the suggestions - have now booked Merrily and Daddy Long Legs.. Hope there are no revealing themes linking those??
I have booked front row stalls tickets but two of our party are only 5' 2" tall. The tickets just say "may need to loook up". Will that be a problem? Does the Savoy have booster seats? (They needed them for Betty Blue Eyes at Novello!).
